WHY USE THE MAGAMAX FLOW SYSTEM?All trenches are monolithically poured, creating a SEAMLESS SYSTEM including corners. The MEGAMAX FLOW SYSTEM allows sections to SLOPE FROM 5.25” TO UP TO 36” below floor level. Trenches are EASY TO CLEAN, since the formed RADIUS BOTTOM SURFACE of trenches creates BETTER RUN-OFF OF GREY WATER & DEPOSITS, and STEEL GRATES ARE EASY TO REMOVE (2 MIN / 100FT SECTION / PERSON). Once grates are removed there are NO OBSTRUCTING CROSS BARS in the way of your shovel / cleaning tool. All trenches have 6” MINIMUM WIDTH, with the option to upgrade up to 24”. The STEEL GRATES CAN BE EASILY REMOVED AND REUSED if you decide to relocate in the future. Trenches can be EASILY FILLED IN IF YOU RELOCATE, without having to remove any steel framework casted in place. TIE-INNS OR ADD-ONS to the existing trenches are easy, should you decide to expand you wet areas in the future. LAST MINUTE CHANGES ON SITE IS POSSIBLE, if you need to change your wet area perimeters. WHY A CURVED-BOTTOM TRENCH?The importance of a curved-bottom trench drain is primarily for maintenance. With a curved-bottom trench drain the sediment washes to the bottom of the curve, instead of spreading out along the entire flat bottom surface. If the trench drain was properly sized and sloped, the flow velocity in the bottom of a curved-bottom trench should reach 3-3.5ft/sec. on a regular basis. When this happens, the sediment on the bottom of the trench becomes fluid and runs through the system keeping the trench drain clean and clear of debris. With a flat-bottom trench drain the flow is spread over a wider cross section, allowing the flow velocity to be less for the same volume of water. This causes the trench drain not reaching a scouring velocity as often and therefore causes sediment to build up in the bottom of the trench drain. We are a medium-sized company that is very conscious of controlling our inventory and quality control, which in turn helps us provide a quality product at an affordable price. We typically make use of a 3500 PSI MINIMUM STRENGTH concrete and GRADE 60 STEEL REINFORCEMENT in order to provide a solid structure. All structures are done by a well-trained & focused crew in order to maintain quality at an affordable price. ALL STRUCTURES ARE GUARANTEED!Some Useful Links |
